Adoption Information

Families of FANA, WNY is a caring and supportive community. Each new couple is assigned a Buddy Family. The Buddy Family can help the new couple with their paperwork, answer any questions that they may have and help the couple through the adoption process. The "Buddy Family" is our way to reach out to waiting couples and welcome them into our organization.

After the couple has received word of their new child, they will travel to Bogotá, Colombia.  In Colombia they will meet their bundle of joy and finalize their paperwork. While they are in Colombia, they will stay in a safe, secure residence with private transportation and translator services provided.

Finally... when the new family returns from Colombia, they can expect a friendly welcome from Families of FANA.
